Leading up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup and during the FWWC, I had the honour to follow and document the Canadian Women’s National Team journey. We travelled to Portugal, Spain, England, and Toronto during our 6 month count down, and France for the Women’s World Cup.

The days consisted of capturing training, interviews, being their for candid moments, and lots of editing and motion graphic editing. Beyond creating content for social, I also had to create internal content for the team and assist the Staff to get the team in the right mindset heading into their matches.

The journey did not end how anyone planned, but knowing this team, they will come back stronger with the lessons learned, ready for Tokyo 2020, and most importantly, ready to continue growing the game of football in Canada for young girls and boys.
