MyCatch by Angler’s Atlas is a new app that helps anglers track their catches, and at the same time help fisheries biologists by providing important catch data for their fisheries assessments.
My Catch is produced by Angler’s Atlas, an online platform that has catalogued hundreds of thousands of waterbodies, and helps anglers explore lakes, rivers and oceans with detailed maps, tips and local fishing information.
We created this video to introduce MyCatch. Sean wanted his own voice in the video, and wanted the voice of an Angler as well. He wanted to highlight the features of the app, while the Angler shares his own experiences using MyCatch. Shooting Angler's Atlas' story was a wonderful excuse to be outdoors. Sean's passion for conservation led to creating MyCatch.
This app will create a positive impact and help fishery biologist collect their necessary data without the high cost of traditional methods. Download MyCatch and become a citizen scientist, and help contribute data for conservation.
